Ingredients in detail:
•De-ionized Water - this is an industry standard for water purification.
•Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides - This medium-chain triglyceride is derived from fractionated vegetable fatty acids sourced from coconuts. It boasts a colorless appearance, with a neutral scent and flavor, and features a remarkably low viscosity. Its resistance to oxidation is exceptional. Acting as a carrier and transport medium for active ingredients, it efficiently penetrates the skin and is swiftly absorbed. It leaves no greasy residue and aids in moisture retention.
•Progesterone Ph. Eur. USP JP - Is derived principally from stigmasterol, a steroidal sapogenin. Phytosterols are chemically similar to cholesterol which is found in animals. Cholesterol is the starting point for the hormones made naturally in animals, including humans. Plants such as the soy bean, Dioscorea species of yams, fenugreek, sisal, calabar bean, some lilies, yucca, some solanum species, maize and many more contain phytosterols, some of which are stigmasterol, diosgenin, sitosterol, campesterol, hecogenin, smilagenin, sarsasapogenin, solasodine. As these sterols have a similar molecular structure to progesterone, they are used as starting points for the synthesis of progesterone. The progesterone used in Natpro is synthesised from the wild yam.
•Sodium Olivoil Glutamate - Sodium OLIVOIL Glutamate is a non-ethoxylated, vegetal derived surfactant that combines the unique fatty acid profile of olive oil with the characteristic affinity of glutamic acid toward the skin surface.
The quest for PEG-free emulsifiers led to the creation of new classes of base ingredients, one of which is this skin-friendly and environmentally-friendly Sodium OLIVOIL Glutamate.
This new emulsifier structure provides:
As the whole concept of creating a more efficient equilibrium between ones skin and ones body has increased in popularity, we are seeing an increased success with ingredients of natural origin, embracing the concepts of respect for your skin, or skin friendly emulsifiers.
This is due to 2 main aspects:
•Populus Tremuloides - a natural preservative made from non GM aspen trees. ‘Aspen bark extract’ as such is a unique discovery, as it is an effective natural replacement for commonly used harmful chemical preservatives. It also improves the emollience (the 'feel good' factor) of the cream.
•Xanthan Gum (and) Lecithin (and) Sclerotium Gum (and) Pullulan - Patented optimised combination of phospholipids and polysaccharides, this is a natural stabiliser gelling agent that leaves an amazing silicone-like skin feel.
It is a preservative-free, ecofriendly, foolproof gelling agent with amazing silicone-like skin feel & texture and 100% natural origin. Also, serves as a thickener, co-emulsifier, stabilizer, suspending agent and skin feel enhancer. This green processed ingredient shows high compatibility with electrolytes.
This senso-active functional ingredient improves active ingredient efficacy and offers skin hydration for true active textures. It provides softness properties demonstrating highly attractive sensory identity. It brings hydration for a 100% active base and reinforces the protective barrier which decreases TEWL and therefore helps keep the skin moisturized.
•D-alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - All emulsions made with vegetable oils have the potential to go rancid. For this reason d-alpha tocopherol is used as it’s an in vitro antioxidant.
•Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) -Nicotinamide, also known as niacinamide, is a form of vitamin B3 that offers numerous benefits for skin health.

A closer look:
When selecting a progesterone cream, it is essential to ensure it contains the appropriate concentration of progesterone.
The concentration of progesterone in various creams ranges from 1.5% to 20% For instance, a cream with 1.5% concentration delivers 15mg of progesterone per gram (g) or millilitre (ml), while a 10% cream provides 100mg per gram (g) or millilitre (ml). Therefore, the necessary dose of cream must be considered based on the required amount of progesterone to alleviate symptoms. Natpro, specifically, is a 3.3% cream, offering 33.3mg per gram or millilitre.
It is crucial to examine the ingredients in the cream, as many contain estrogenic properties, such as grapefruit seed extract. Additionally, although the label may indicate that the cream is natural, it often includes chemical preservatives.
